The association has set a target of distributing 5 lakh saplings this year.
Aiming to materialize the motto of Green Nadiad, Clean Nadiad
The free sapling distribution program organized by Nadiad Saw Mill Owners Association was held under the chairmanship of Chief Dandak Pankajbhai Desai. In this program, he said that like every year, this year too, this association and the forest department have organized a program of free sapling distribution. Nadiad Saw Mill Association has been organizing this event for the last 22 years and this year is the 23rd event.
The association has also made a valuable contribution in making Kheda district stand out from the point of view of greenery in the whole of Gujarat. Trees have a valuable contribution in human life. If 5 lakh saplings are distributed this year, the entire district can become green. Trees provide natural oxygen in abundance.
The importance of trees varies according to zodiac signs and constellations

Trees have a great contribution in human life from social, religious, cultural and economic point of view. As soon as the farmers find the sprouting trees, they will cultivate them. He said, during these previous 22 years, more than 63 lakh saplings have been distributed by Nadiad So Mill Association which is an inspiration to other districts and a boon to our district. In the end he said that let’s make the slogan of “Green Nadiad, Kalin Nadiad” a reality.
District Development Officer Mehulbhai Dave said that Mission Green Nadiad is getting great support from all the community leaders of Nadiad. In a very short span of time, approximately more than 50 thousand saplings have been distributed and planted in Nadiad. Religious organizations are also involved in this work. In the coming years, Nadiad city is expected to become a role model for the entire Gujarat as a visionary of greenery. Let us fulfill our duty to the society by planting trees near our house or where the tree can grow.
