The ancient Koteshwar temple on the shores of the Arabian Sea, which is currently being renovated by the Gujarat Development Board, has increased the facilities and beauty of the temple complex. As the temple is on a hill, earlier elderly and disabled pilgrims had difficulty in climbing the steps.
At present, it is easy for them to take the lift. Along with beautifying the temple itself, pearl blocks have been laid in the vast grounds to the south of the temple. Tourists can take the opportunity to see the huge temple along with sea view from there. Next to the temple, guest rooms, priest rooms and facilities for pilgrims to enter and exit the temple for darshan have been created. With the commencement of the month of Shravan, pilgrims will get a good benefit of Koteshwar temple darshan.
