Corona has raised its head in Rajkot as the festivals are approaching. On Saturday, 23 new positive cases were reported in the city. When 27 patients were discharged after defeating Corona. So far the total number of cases has reached 64496. Currently 239 patients are under treatment. Keeping in view the increasing cases of Corona, Rajkot Municipal Corporation has organized a mega vaccination drive today on Sunday. In which vaccine is being given in 23 Oragya centers and 2 hospitals.
First, second and precaution doses are given
Although today is a Sunday, it was decided by the Manpa to continue the corona vaccination. In which precautionary dose and first and second dose of corona vaccine are being given free of charge for citizens above 18 years of age. Corona vaccination has been continued at 23 health centers of Rajkot Municipality, Padmakuvarba Hospital and Civil Hospital.
People who have completed 6 months can take precautionary dose
The precautionary dose of corona vaccine is being given free of cost to all citizens between 18 and 59 years. Citizens who have taken the second dose of corona vaccine, all those citizens who have completed 6 months can take the precautionary dose. Also, citizens above 60 years of age can also take precautionary dose of Corona vaccine. Citizens remaining in the first and second doses of the vaccine will also be able to take the vaccine from 9 am to 5 pm.
