The dead bodies of the deceased mother and son have been kept in the mortuary.
A jeep crushed 3 members of a family near Sarwari in Kullu, the district headquarters in Himachal. In this painful accident, the woman and her son died, while the granddaughter was injured. The bodies of both the deceased have been kept in the mortuary of Kullu Hospital for post-mortem. The post-mortem will take place on Tuesday. Police investigation is continuing regarding the accident.

Kullu Superintendent of Police Gurudev Sharma said that the driver of a Mahindra jeep in Inner Sarvari Bazar, while driving the vehicle carelessly backwards, hit a woman, a youth and a small girl. All three suffered serious injuries in the accident and were taken to Kshatriya Hospital Kullu. First woman Sarla Devi has died and after that son Sunny also died. The condition of the injured four-year-old girl, Veeranshi, is critical. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The absconding driver arrested after the accident
The family is a resident of Sarvari. Superintendent of Police Gurudev Sharma said that the driver of the jeep fled from the spot after committing the incident. After the information, the police arrested him after conducting a blockade and searched him. The police have started investigation after registering a case against him for rash and negligent driving.
The family settled in Sarvari after coming from Kangra
The SP said that all three are members of the same family. This family is originally from the area of Kangra, but has been living in Sarvari, Kullu for many years. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the family due to the death of mother and son. At present, the bodies of both have been kept in the mortuary of the hospital. Will be handed over to the heirs after the post-mortem in the morning.
