NCP leader Ajit Pawar will be the Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly

Mumbai: The Eknath Shinde government has passed the floor test in the Maharashtra Assembly today. During the voting, the Shide-BJP faction got 164 votes, while the Opposition got 99 votes. Today, NCP leader Ajit Pawar has been elected Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
NCP MLA Jayant Patil proposed the name of Ajit Pawar, which was approved in the Assembly. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar lashed out at Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
He said that Devendra Fadnavis’s speech did not show the same vigor as before. Devendra Fadnavis is a leader from Maharashtra who has held three posts in two and a half years. First he became the Chief Minister, then the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly and now serving as the Deputy Chief Minister.
