Slums spread over one acre in Jind.

On Saturday, intelligence agencies launched a search operation on information about Rohingyas in one acre of slums along the road leading to Raja Ki Kothi in Jind, Haryana. Photos and videos of slums went viral on social media. It was claimed that these huts belonged to Rohingya Muslims, but when the investigation was done, the families living in them were found from Assam. These people earlier lived at different places in Jind. Now one acre of land has been rented due to living together. The slums have been built here in a systematic way.

The construction of slums along the road leading to Raja ki Kothi was in progress for a few days. The people passing around did not pay any attention to this at first. On Saturday, suddenly someone made the video and photo of these huts viral on social media. After this the employees of intelligence agencies swung into action. A search operation was launched to investigate these huts.

The personnel of intelligence agencies reached here and checked the papers of the people living here. In the investigation, some people had local identity cards of Assam and some were also found. People living here told that they have been living in Jind city for a long time. Earlier all the family members lived in different places. Now everyone has decided to stay together. For this, the land has been taken on contract along the road leading to Raja Ki Kothi. Now they are building huts and godowns to collect junk.
