Parul Chaudhary Sets New National Record In Women's 3000 Meter Event In Los Angeles

Parul Chaudhary National Record: After Olympic champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, now India’s daughter Parul Chaudhary has increased the country’s prestige abroad. Parul Chaudhary, India’s Star Trek athlete, won a bronze medal in the 3000m at the Sound Running Sunset Tour1 in the US on the night of July 2, 2022.

Became the first athlete in the country to clock in less than 9 minutes
The event was played at Jack Kemp Stadium in downtown Los Angeles, California. Parul Chaudhary covered 3000 meters in 8:57:19 minutes and also broke the national record (Parul Chaudhary National Record). She became the first athlete in the country to clock less than 9 minutes in the women’s 3000m.

In the women’s 3000m steeplechase, Parul Chaudhary was running fifth after two laps, but then she made a spectacular comeback and not only broke the national record, but also finished third on the podium.

Parul Chaudhary, 27, broke Surya Loganathan’s national record with a time of 7 seconds. Born on July 7, 1990 in Pudukottai, Tamil Nadu, Surya Loganath set a national record in April 2016 in New Delhi with a time of 9: 04.5 minutes.

Tokyo missed a short distance to qualify for the Olympics
