PM Modi Inagurated National Ashoka Emblem: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday unveiled the National Ashoka Emblem erected on the roof of the new Parliament House. The height of this national symbol is 6.5 meters. Leaders including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri were present on the occasion.
Informing about the national emblem, government officials said that the national emblem unveiled by the Prime Minister on the roof of the new Parliament House is made of bronze. With a height of 6.5 meters, the total weight of this national symbol is 9,500 kg. The statue has been installed in the middle of the roof of the new parliament building. A steel supporting structure weighing about 6,500 kg has been built to support this symbol.

PM Modi interacts with workers
During the unveiling of the national emblem, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also interacted with the workers involved in the construction of the new parliament. During the conversation, PM Modi told the workers that the workers involved in the construction of this building are contributing a lot to the pride of the country.
During the conversation, a laborer told the PM about coming to the Parliament under construction, “Your coming here is like coming to Lord Rama’s Shabri hut for us.” On that the PM said, wow! This is your cottage. He then said that every poor person in the country should feel that this (Parliament House) is their hut.
