Vadodara Police Commissioner meeting with Methanol traders.
After the riots in the villages of Barwala and Dhandhuka, the performance of the state police is being questioned. Then, to prevent any such incident from happening in Vadodara, the City Police Commissioner has called a meeting of all small and large methanol traders and storage keepers and has given strict instructions to ensure that the quantity of this chemical does not fall into the hands of anyone else.

In the villages of Barwala and Dhandhuka, more than 55 people have died recently in Sargyal Laththankad. When questions were raised about the functioning of the police system due to this chakchari incident, vigilance is being taken to prevent any such incident from happening in Vadodara. Vadodara City Police Commissioner Shamsher Singh today held a meeting with all small and big methanol traders, customers, users and storage keepers of the city.
Suggestions are given to conserve the amount of methanol
In this meeting, the city police commissioner said that there is no malpractice during the transportation and storage of methanol and it should be used as per the rules. Also, necessary instructions were given so that its quantity does not go to an unauthorized person and any accident or tragedy does not occur due to its misuse.
Traders will inform the police
60 to 70 dealers and traders of methanol were present in this meeting held by the city police commissioner. These people also assured the police that they would take care that the quantity of methanol does not fall into the hands of unauthorized persons. Also, if they notice any such activity, they will inform the police.
