Rainy weather prevailed across the state
Rainy weather is being witnessed all over the state since Ashadhi Bij. In the last 24 hours, 143 talukas have received rain. The highest rainfall was 5 inches in Vansada of Navsari, 4.5 inches in Khambhaliya of Devbhoomidwarka, more than 4 inches in Manvadar of Junagadh. 33.3 to 4 inches of rain has fallen in 33 talukas. Rainy weather is being witnessed in the entire state at present.
Destruction following heavy rains in Siswa, Anand
Siswa in Anand, South Gujarat, is witnessing catastrophic scenes due to heavy rains. The roads of Bhadthar, Bhatel and Keshod villages were flooded due to heavy rains in the rural panth of Khambhaliya. Following heavy rains in Gondal taluka, water flooded under Lalpul underbridge. Sukhbhadar river of Ranpur of Botad started flowing on two banks. Junagadh, Devbhoomidwarka and Girsomnath also received heavy rains. Heavy rains in Junagadh city also turned the road again. There was also heavy rain in Veraval of Girsomnath and Bhanvad of Devbhoomidwarka.
