Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Registration Last Date Is 31st July 2022 On Portal

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana: Farmers have planted kharif crops, at the same time monsoon has arrived in the country. The last date for registration is July 31, 2022 for farmers who want to avail the benefits of the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme to compensate for crop damage due to rains or droughts. To avail the PM crop insurance scheme, farmers have to go to the portal and register by July 31, 2022.

The farmer can insure his crop, in which he can be compensated for the damage caused to the farmer by the natural calamity. If the crop is damaged due to lightning or any other natural cause, the farmers will get the benefit of insurance under the PM crop insurance scheme. Farmers who do not get insurance will not get compensation.

Which document will be required –
A farmer can get crop insurance from a bank, co-operative society or CSC (Common Service Centre) at www.pmfby.gov.in. Farmers will need Aadhaar card, bank account number, land and crop planting documents to get crop insurance. If a farmer has a KCC (Kisan Credit Card) account with the bank, that too has to be shown to the bank for insurance, along with which crops have been planted in his farm this time.

How much insurance for which crop –
The PM crop insurance scheme covers grains, cotton, millets and maize, which can be insured. The farmer can insure the kharif-2022 crop till July 31. Cover is provided when the crop is damaged or damaged. If the farmer’s crop is ruined due to natural causes, the first thing to do is to inform the insurance company within 72 hours. Under the PM crop insurance scheme, the sum assured will be Rs 36,282 per acre for cotton, Rs 37,484 for cereals, Rs 17,639 for millets, Rs 18,742 for maize and Rs 16,497 per acre for mug crops.
