People taking out a rally in Bauli.
A protest was held in Baunli on Wednesday regarding the Kanhaiyalal Taylor murder case in Udaipur. On the call of various social organizations, the traders kept their establishments closed and protested at the Municipality Headquarters Bauli. During this, a wide impact of the bandh was also seen on private schools. Most of the private educational institutions in the area also remained closed. Almost all establishments in the area remained closed except for emergency services.
After the mass satsang at the Khedapati Hanuman temple led by various Hindutva organizations, a foot march was taken out on the main Niwai road. During this, the protesters raised slogans against the government and demanded capital punishment for the killers of Kanhaiyalal Taylor. The protesters recited the collective Hanuman Chalisa at the village panchayat headquarters. After which the memorandum was submitted to the SDM Badrinarayan Meena in the name of the Governor.
In the memorandum, the protesters demanded capital punishment for the killers of Kanhaiyalal Taylor, arrest of all the accused involved in the incident, security to Kanhaiya Lal’s family and financial assistance. During this, many people including Ram Avatar Meena Omprakash Dandoria, Hemraj Dixit were present. For the security arrangements, SHO Shrikishan Meena May Jabta was present during this period. Additional squads were also called on the spot to maintain peace and order.
