Relief From Inflation Likely: દેThe big news of relief has come in the face of rising prices. From October 2022, the general public is expected to get relief from inflation. This confidence has been expressed by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikant Das.
Inflation will come down in the country
Inflation is expected to ease in the second half of fiscal year 2022-23, which will alleviate the problems of the economy. He indicated that the RBI would not have to make tough monetary policy decisions when inflation eased.
The RBI governor said that at present, the supply forecast is looking good and all the indicators are indicating a better recovery of the economy between April and June in the first quarter of the financial year 2022-23. And we expect inflation to moderate in the second half of 2022-23.
Inflation soared due to the Russia-Ukraine war
Central banks around the world are suffering from supply chain problems, rising commodity prices and Russia’s attack on Akram. For this reason, the inflation rate in India has been above the 6 per cent level of the RBI since the beginning of this year, which has forced the RBI to raise the repo rate by 90 basis points. The RBI has raised its inflation forecast to 6.7 per cent from 5.7 per cent.
Much relief from the RBI governor’s statement
This statement by RBI Governor Shaktikant Das may have brought relief to those who are bothered by expensive EMI due to expensive loans. As well as after this statement the water turns again on the possibility of interest rates going up in the coming days. The RBI’s monetary policy meeting is set to take place in August, with many experts voicing the possibility of the RBI raising the repo rate again. But a recent statement from the RBI governor may allay such fears.
