The general meeting of Anand Municipality was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of President Rupalbehan Patel. With the start of this meeting, the opposition stood up to present itself. The opposition members pressed the Chief Officer to listen to their questions and tried to force him to sit there. However, the chief officer has no role as the meeting is over. Saying that, the opposition members were more agitated. Tried to push the chief officer. Finally the civic servants of the ruler intervened Chief Officer S.K. Garwal was thrown out of the crowd. 385 employees will be recruited in Anand Municipality
Technical, clerical, health related posts are vacant in different departments of Anand Municipality. In which recruitment has not been done for the last 20 years. 641 institution was sanctioned to fill this post in 2020. However, leaving 128 posts after 20 percent cut, 513 posts remain to be filled. Out of which 128 posts are filled and 385 posts are vacant. Apart from this, action has also been taken to fill up 37 posts corresponding to 50 percent of the cleaning workers.
