Liztomania Club & Kitchen
Liztomania Club and Kitchen operated in Bhilai’s Surya Mall used to arrange a party till 1-2 o’clock late in the night and serve liquor. This was revealed when a joint team of the Excise Department raided here late on Saturday night. Here even after 12.30 pm, people were found dancing and drinking alcohol inside the club. Even after being caught flouting the Excise Act, the Excise officers left the club operator by making excuses. An official of the Excise Department said that the new Collector of the district, Pushpendra Kumar Meena, had instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Excise Nohar Singh Thakur to take action. The collector instructed them that even after 12 o’clock in the night liquor is being served inside the club. A joint team of excise officers was formed on the instructions of the collector. The team raided the Liztomania club late Saturday at 12.30 pm. When the Excise Department team reached there, the door was closed from outside and the light was also off. Hundreds of vehicles were parked outside the mall. On this, the excise officials reached inside the club where boys and girls were found dancing and drinking. On this the Excise Department closed the club. Directed the club operator, if this is found again, action will be taken against him.
