There is a state of confusion regarding the conduct of STET exam and the topics covered in it. But the Education Department has made it clear that this time the STET exam will be conducted for only one subject. That subject would be commerce. This has been confirmed by Deepak Kumar Singh, Chief Additional Secretary, Education Department. Let us tell you that the STET exam which was held in 2019 was taken only for the Faculty of Arts and Science. For the Faculty of Commerce the exam was not taken. Whereas in plus two schools, all three faculties of science, arts and commerce are taught. That’s why the youth associated with commerce had gone to court.
So that the candidates who have passed in this subject can be included in the employment.
On behalf of the Education Department, it has been said that due to the news published in various newspapers, some confusion has arisen in the context of STET. In this regard, it is to be clarified that in the light of the order passed by Patna High Court in Petition No. 7387/2020 and MJC No. 447/ 2022, Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted for the Faculty of Commerce, so that the candidates who have passed in this subject can join the employment. .

According to the Education Department, the conduct of the STET examination will not become a hindrance in the restoration of the seventh phase. There is also a possibility that except the commerce subject, the process of reinstatement of the seventh phase will start in other subjects. After the result of commerce subject, a separate chance will be given in the seventh phase.
