Porbandar The meteorological department has forecast heavy to very heavy rains in Gujarat for the next four days. As well as fishermen have been instructed not to plow the sea. In the midst of all this, news came that 22 people were trapped with a ship in the sea of Porbandar. A daring rescue operation has been launched by the Indian Coast Guard to rescue these people.
The rescued crew includes 20 Indians along with 1 Pakistani and 1 Sri Lankan national. The rescued persons are being brought to Porbandar port by the ICG vessels and choppers: ICG officials

The Indian Coast Guard has carried out a daring rescue operation in the Arabian Sea. The Coast Guard immediately arrived at the scene after receiving a distress warning call and began rescue operations. The ship was coming from the UAE, with 22 crew carrying 6,000 tons of cargo. The newly commissioned Advanced Pole Helicopter was deployed.

Of the 22 people rescued, 20 are Indians, one is a Pakistani and one is a Sri Lankan. Rescuers have been brought to Porbandar port.
