A shed in front of a house in Jodhpur district’s father was blown away in the wind.
Monsoon clouds have camped in Jodhpur. People are waiting for heavy rains to get some respite from the humidity. After clear weather for the whole day, the light rain that started in the evening definitely raised some hope. Rainfall at some places in rural areas is proving to be nectar for the crops. There was stormy rain in the father area on Thursday evening. Seeing the shed in front of a house, it flew like a straw in the sky.
Monsoon clouds have not rained heavily in Jodhpur city so far. Two days ago, it rained only in one part of the city, while the weather remained clear in the other part. The city was scorching hot since Thursday morning. There was a change in the weather in the evening and thick dark clouds had camped in the sky. At present, there was a period of light rain till late evening with strong thunder of lightning.
Light to moderate rain was recorded at some places in the rural areas. After the first rain of pre-monsoon, farmers had sown a lot of the area. The light rain falling for that crop came as a boon. In the evening, clouds rained heavily in Osian and Bhikamkor. A spring of water flowed down the steps of the Sachiyaya Mata Temple in Osian.

Dad saw stormy rain in the evening. During this, a well fitted roof through an iron pipe flew outside a house. Flying like a straw, a huge thatch fell in the field at a far away place. No one was in the open because of the rain. There was no casualty due to this.
