Heavy rains in various parts of Maharashtra have badly affected people’s lives. Meanwhile, a total of 102 people have lost their lives since July 1. The State Disaster Management Authority said in a report on Friday. This number is recorded between the first of July and the fourteenth of July. Three people have been killed in the last 24 hours in the state, including one each in Buldhana, Nashik and Nandurbar districts. In the state, 102 people have been killed in rain-related incidents including floods, lightning, landslides and falling trees. According to a report, some villages in Maharashtra have been affected by heavy rains. At least 3,873 people from these villages have been shifted to relief camps. Heavy rains have lashed many parts of the state, including Mumbai and surrounding areas, for the past few days. Meanwhile, the intensity of rains is likely to ease from Saturday after hitting the Konkan in central Maharashtra for about a week.
