This is Gujarat's model of higher education! Gujarat's low attendance in NIRF's ranking of top educational institutions

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today announced the rankings of the top educational institutions for the year 2022 prepared by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). NIRF has compiled a list of the country’s top educational institutions in 11 categories, which has exposed the Gujarat government’s claims poll.
Gujarat’s colleges and universities have got a place in the list of NIRF.
NIRF has announced the list of top educational institutes in the categories of Overall, University, Engineering, Management, College, Pharmacy, Medical, Law, Architecture, Dental and Research, in which only two universities of Gujarat have got a place in the list of top 100 universities. Gujarat University is ranked 58th, while St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad is ranked 52nd in the list of top 100 colleges. Apart from that, none of the hundreds of colleges in Gujarat got a place in the college top 100. Apart from this, there are 2 in the engineering category, 1 in the research category, 6 in the management category, 6 in the pharmacy category, 2 in the medical category, 2 in the dental category, 1 in the low category and 1 in the architecture category.
While Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore has been ranked first in the top universities, Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi is in second place and Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi is in third place. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan felicitated the representatives of the top three institutions in each category by calling them on stage.
