A painful accident has happened in Deoghar district. On Saturday, two innocent people died due to drowning in the pond located at Hardlakund in the city police station area. The deceased five-year-old Deva Kumar and six-year-old Kishan Kumar were residents of Dhapra Toli nearby. In relation to the incident, it was told that both the friends had left the house at around 11 o’clock in the day. When both did not return for a long time, the relatives went out in search of them. He was searched at many places but nothing was found of him. In the course of the search, these people saw the clothes of both the children on the banks of the pond located at Hardlakund. After that both of them feared drowning in the pond.
People took out the dead bodies of both the innocent by diving inside the pond. People told that in order to take bath, both of them went into deep water. He died by drowning in the depths. Neighbors told that suddenly the water level of the pond has increased slightly due to the rains. The deceased Deva’s father Vijay Dom and Kishan’s father Munna Dom used to work as a sweeper. Nearby people gathered there on the information of the dead body being found in the pond. Not a police case though. Because of this, both the people of the house took away the dead body silently. Due to this incident, the relatives of both the innocent are in a bad condition. Later some people informed the city police about the incident. Police is investigating the matter at its level.
