Valsad submerged: NDRF team in Ghodapur in Aurangabad river due to heavy rains in Narmada river

Heavy rains in Valsad have disrupted public life as water from the Aurangabad River seeps into people’s homes. Rescue operations are currently being carried out by the NDRF team. More than 300 people were evacuated while the NDRF was reported to have rescued more than 70 people in Valsad city.
It has rained in 70 talukas since this morning. More than 4 inches of rain has been recorded in 8 talukas in just 6 hours today. Due to heavy rains in Narmada, rivers have turned into Ganditur. SDRF team has been deployed to restore water on the bridge connecting Maharashtra.
