Debris removed from Tindi-Kilar road.

The Tindi-Kilar road (SH-26) in Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul-Spiti has been restored for vehicular movement after 17 hours by BRO personnel. The road was closed for traffic since Thursday evening. En route near Moda Veer Mandir, landslides had caused huge amount of debris on the road and the inclement weather made it difficult to clear the debris. Road restoration work was started on Friday morning.

Superintendent of Police Lahaul Spiti Manav Verma said that the movement of vehicles has been allowed as soon as the road is restored. Apart from this, the Manali-Leh road is still restored for all vehicles and the Koksar-Kaza road is also restored for all types of vehicles.
