What is the new feature?
Until now, WhatsApp used to have three options for your profile photo, last seen and about, in privacy settings you could use only Everyone, My Contacts and Nobody options for these features.
The app has added a fourth option to this list, which is My Contacts Except, which means that now users will be in control of who can see their profile picture, last scene and about. This feature has been released for both Android and iOS.

If you are an Android user, then to use this feature you have to follow some steps, first of all you have to open WhatsApp, here you have to go to More options > Settings > Account > Privacy, now you have to see everything from profile photo to last scene. There are four options for each feature.
Also, if you are an iOS user, you have to go to Settings > Account > Privacy, after this you will get options like profile photo, last scene, about, status, here you can decide who can see your profile photo.
