- Nationalist MLA Amol Mitkari targeted the BJP
In the matter of Enforcement Directorate (ED) raiding Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s house, Congress, nationalists have strongly criticized the action of ED, while Leader of Opposition Ajit Pawar has reacted cautiously. Many people have received ED notices in the past. Be it ED or CBI or IT, all these agencies have powers of investigation. These institutions are autonomous. Only Raut can tell why the ED is repeatedly calling Raut for questioning and sending summons.
On the one hand, Ajit Pawar did not condemn the action of the ED, on the other hand, his own party MLA Amol Mitkari criticized the BJP. The atmosphere heated up against the Governor. Mitkari tried to point out the fact that the ED raided Raut’s house in the morning to divert public attention and reduce public anger against the Governor.
