Shaheen Afridi out of Asia Cup

PCB Chief Medical Officer Dr Najibullah Soumro said, ‘I have spoken to Shaheen and he is very disturbed by the news. But he is a brave young man, who has vowed to come back strong to serve his country and team. However he has made progress in his comeback in Rotterdam. It is now clear that he will need more time and is likely to return to competitive cricket in October.
The PAK team will arrive in Dubai on August 22
Dr. “PCB’s sports and exercise department will work closely with Shahin in the coming weeks to ensure his safe return to competitive cricket,” Najibullah said. Shaheen will remain with the team to complete his comeback. Shaheen’s place for the Asia Cup will be announced soon. The Pakistani team will reach Dubai from Rotterdam on Monday (August 22).
