Rajasthan Digifest In Jaipur: The two-day Rajasthan Digifest began on Saturday at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot told the youth in the ceremony that Rajiv Gandhi had become the Prime Minister of the country at the age of just 40. He was the one who brought computer revolution for the first time for the bright future of the country. Today, the effect of the same is being seen here in the enthusiasm of the youth, dedication towards work and innovations. He said that our vision is of ‘Technology for All’. The state government is making every effort for this.

Next budget will be dedicated to youth


Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the enthusiasm of youth is playing an important role in the progress of Rajasthan state. Youth can bring change in any field. The state government is also taking important decisions for the bright future and encouragement of the youth. In this direction, the next budget will be dedicated to the youth and students. He also sought suggestions from the people of the state for better decisions in the interests of youth.

CM visited the exhibition


In the fest, CM Gehlot praised the innovations of the youth by visiting the exhibition based on information technology and encouraged them. Principal Secretary Finance Akhil Arora said that this two-day festival is being organized by the Department of Information Technology and Communications. This two-day multi-day event aims to bring together youth, startups, investors, corporates, partners and academia and facilitate interaction and collaboration with the government and the public at large.

Biggest exhibition of startups


This is the biggest exhibition of products and services by startups of the state on a common platform, in which startups representing various universities and ATLs from across the state will showcase their products and services. All these startups are getting the facility of their interaction and pitch in front of government officials for direct purchase of products and services. In the startup market, 30 startups from product based urban and rural areas are being given an opportunity to showcase and sell their products.

Civil society gave suggestions to CM


In the program, Nikhil Dey and his team from civil society gave suggestions to the Chief Minister related to better use of information technology in the progress of the state. Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, Principal Secretary to the Finance Department Akhil Arora, Commissioner of Information Technology and Communications Department Ashish Gupta, high officials of the State Government, Information Technology experts from all over the country, students of IT sector were present on the occasion.
