Raids have been conducted at several places by the Food Department of the Municipal Corporation in Rajkot along with the local crime branch and police staff of Rajkot City. In the wake of this raid, panic has spread among shop owners selling food and drinks. According to the information received by the food department team, a raid was conducted at Mr. Jai Ambe Enterprise firm located at New Somnath Industries Area, Street No.-2, Kotharia, Rajkot, where the business of making ghee by adding flavor like ghee has been speeded up. A sample has been taken under the Food Safety and Standards Act-2006 on suspicion of selling Team Sri Paras Diwabatti with 15 kg packing as adulterated ghee under the guise of consuming it in Diwabatti.
So the team of Rajkot Municipal Corporation Food Department conducted inspection of food and beverage businessmen in hawkers zone in front of Kalavad Road Prem Mandir along with Food Safety on Wheels van in connection with the holy month of Shravan festivals, in which a total of 26 places were inspected.
These places were raided by the food department and samples were taken

- Tikha Ngumtia (Luz) : Venue – Santosh Sweet Mart, Kotharia Road, Behind Mahakali Mandir, Near Manav Dharma Ashram, Rajkot
- Bhakharwadi (Luz) : Venue – Jai Balaji Namkin, Bapunagar-6, District Garden Road, Rajkot
