The staff went on an electric strike at the civil hospital in Junagadh after a health worker was attacked. However, the matter was settled after the intervention of DySP and Civil Superintendent. According to the details available in this regard, there is an increasing incidence of putting the lives of health workers who save people’s lives in danger in Junagadh Civil. Late on Saturday night, the patient and his relative attacked the nursing staff with scissors for a trivial matter like giving a sheet. In this attack, the nursing staff was injured on the nose and finger.
After this incident, the health workers went on an electrical strike from Sunday and stopped the work. The nursing staff demanded their safety. For this, they demanded to arrange security and install CCTV cameras. They threatened to continue the strike until it was resolved and boycott all operations. DySP Pradipsingh Jadeja and Civil Superintendent Naynaben Lakum, after coming to know about the incident, settled the matter with such persuasion. As a result, the medical staff was back on duty. After receiving a complaint in this matter, the police has conducted an investigation.
