Australia beat New Zealand by 133 runs to win the series 2-0

Mitchell Starc’s all-round performance and Adam Zampa’s five-wicket haul helped Australia beat New Zealand by 133 runs in the second ODI here to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

New Zealand all out for just 82 runs

Australia scored 195 runs for nine wickets. In response to which the New Zealand team, which won the toss and fielded first, was bowled out for 82 runs in 33 overs. This was his sixth lowest score in ODIs. Williamson’s 17 runs and Santener’s 16 runs were the main points in New Zealand’s innings. Apart from taking two wickets for 12 runs, Starc scored an unbeaten 38 off 45 balls. Zampa lost five wickets for 35 runs. Steve Smith’s 61 off 94 balls in Australia’s innings was the third-lowest half-century of his ODI career. Trent Boult lost four wickets for 38 runs and Matt Henry lost three wickets for 33 runs.
