Veteran fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has criticized Pakistan Cricket Board chief selector Mohammad Wasim for the squad selected for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The fast bowlers are unhappy with the team selection.

Former veteran players upset with PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board on Thursday (September 15) announced the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Shan Masood has been included in the 15-man squad, while veteran top-order batsman Fakhar Zaman will remain out of the main squad due to a knee injury. Along with this, Shaheen Afridi has also returned. However, the former Pakistan legend is not happy with the World Cup squad selected by the board and has also lashed out at chief selector Mohammad Wasim.

After the announcement of the team, former fast bowler Mohammad Amir targeted Wasim through a tweet. After this the veteran bowler of the team Shoaib Akhtar also expressed his displeasure saying that an average person can only take average decisions. Shoaib Akhtar in a video uploaded by his YouTube channel said, “When a chief selector is average, his decisions will also be average. Saqlain (Mushtaq) last played cricket in 2002. I don’t want to say that. Because he is my friend. . But I don’t think he has any idea about T20 cricket. I don’t think that’s your quality.
