After 17 years, the England team has come to visit Pakistan. England team will play 7 match T20 series on Pakistan tour. Let it be known that strict security arrangements have been made at the airport. The series between Pakistan and England will start from September 20. The first 4 matches of the series will be played in Karachi while the last three matches will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
England’s first tour of Pakistan since 2005
The last time England toured Pakistan was in 2005. England played a Test and ODI series on the 2005 tour of Pakistan, with Pakistan winning the Test series 2–1. Apart from this, Pakistan won the 5-match ODI series by 3-2.
Sri Lankan players attacked by terrorists
In the year 2009, when the Sri Lankan team reached Pakistan to play a series, the Sri Lankan players were attacked by terrorists in that tour. After which the Sri Lankan players were taken out of the stadium by helicopter. Although the players were not seriously injured, international cricket in Pakistan was stopped since then. Now international cricket is slowly coming back in Pakistan.
