Two days since heavy rains battered Bengaluru in Karnataka, Bellandur lake has breached and storm water drains have overflowed, turning roads into rivers. Commuters struggle through knee-deep water. Half-submerged vehicles try to cross Sarjapur main road that connects Bengaluru city. Along this road, there are more a hundred IT companies. Traffic volunteers are stationed to help motorists navigate the flooded roads.
