Jambusar Taluka Panchayat slaps TDO office due to outstanding property tax

Jambusar Taluka Panchayat did not pay the outstanding property tax of Jambusar Nagar Palika Rs. About which there was a lot of confusion in the diocese.

A strict approach has been taken by Municipal President Bhavnaben Bhaveshkumar Rami and In-charge Chief Officer Dashrath Gohil for the collection of large amounts of tax pending in the Jambusar Municipality area. They advised to recover the arrears of tax from the staff. In that regard, a team of municipal employees led by Lakhdhir Jambu reached the Jambusar Taluka Panchayat office to recover the outstanding debt of Rs 4,98,000.

After non-payment of dues from the taluka panchayat, the palika team sealed the chamber of the taluka development officer. It may be mentioned here that last day the municipality sealed the Navayug Vidyalaya regarding the outstanding tax of Rs 1,73,000. Also, two other shops were sealed for tax arrears in the town, and there has been an uproar among the townspeople who have not paid the tax arrears.
