Health workers under panchayat service will now continue their agitation in their respective districts. After a positive meeting with the government on the issue of forming a committee, all the employees have been instructed by the Mahasangh to leave Gandhinagar and go to their hometowns. The health workers were conducting agitation in Gandhinagar for the last 48 days.

Even after more than 20 meetings with the government, the pending issue of the health workers could not be resolved. Finally, health workers pitched their tents in Gandhinagar. For the last 48 days, he was running the agitation in Gandhinagar. Employees also went on hunger strike for three days. With the short session of the Legislative Assembly over, the district police took an aggressive stance against the agitators yesterday. A clear instruction was given by the police system that no movement will be held in Gandhinagar without permission. No movement is allowed in Gandhinagar. The agitators were urged to withdraw from the Satyagraha camp and Swarnim Park.

There today, the Gujarat State Health Workers Association has ordered the health workers to leave Gandhinagar and go to their hometowns. The employees have been asked to continue the strike in their respective districts. It has been stated that no employee will come to Gandhinagar until the next program is given. The said instruction was given by the Mahasangh after a positive meeting was held to discuss the formation of the committee with the government. Gandhinagar, which has become the backdrop of the health workers’ movement due to the order of the Maha Sangh, will now be empty.

On the other hand, the movement of LRD women candidates and VCE employees, Kisan Sangh is still going on. Gandhinagar became the hub of the movement for some time. At one stage, Gandhinagar was bursting with agitators. However, the government has been able to coordinate the movement of ex-servicemen, forest guards and government employees. The movement of health workers there will continue but will be withdrawn from Gandhinagar.

Protests have been raised regarding the recruitment of academic assistant candidates. Academic assistants are also running the agitation. His opposition still persists. Candidates today staged their protest by burning copies of marksheets, chanting slogans and demanding that the government fill up the vacancies quickly, cancel the traveling teacher besides apply no-repeat theory in recruitment.
