India’s Jemima Rodriguez lost out to Australia’s Tahlia McGrath in the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for August. Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe bagged this award with his brilliant performance in the men’s category.

In the women’s category, Jemima was accompanied by Australia’s Beth Mooney and Tahlia. Tahlia scored 114 runs at an average of 57 at the Commonwealth Games and also took five wickets at an average of 13.40. He scored an unbeaten 78 against Pakistan and also took three wickets. Raza is the first Zimbabwean player to win the award. He won the award beating New Zealand’s Mitchell Santener and England’s Ben Stokes.
