At Wadhwana irrigation pond near Dabhoi near Vadodara, the forest department employees who went on strike came and green-banded 72 trees. Along with this, the employees including the forester who went on strike registered a unique protest as it was the Prime Minister’s 72nd birthday, protested by planting 72 trees and also staged a dharna demonstration.
If their demands are not accepted, then on the next date 19th, a dharna will be held at Gandhinagar Vidhan Sabha and a program will be held to encircle the Vidhan Sabha. Today, 72 trees across 33 districts of the state came up for a unique protest to accept their demands including grade-pay reforms.
