Devotees from Gujarat who are going on pilgrimage to Char Dham in Uttarakhand have faced a major tragedy. A bus was carrying 21 passengers from Gujarat when a fire suddenly broke out in the bus. A bus caught fire near Kata Patthar on the Yamunotri route. A total of 21 devotees were on board this bus, out of which 19 devotees are from Gujarat. These devotees had booked a Yamunotri bus from Haridwar, in which the incident took place. Meanwhile, the same bus reached near the bridge near Katapatthar and the smoke started coming from the bus.

Protection of all devotees in case of fire

In this incident of fire, all the pilgrims have been rescued and the fire has been brought under control by the fire brigade team. All the devotees have been taken to a safe place by arranging a separate bus. Meanwhile, a total of 4 devotees from Ahmedabad and Junagadh, two devotees from Surat, Talala, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and one devotee from Gondal were traveling in this bus.

Suddenly smoke came out of the bus

It has been revealed that this fire happened due to short circuit. While the bus was running, suddenly smoke was seen and the bus stopped immediately and all the passengers got down immediately. The people living nearby informed the fire brigade and the police, the team of Arjun Singh, the in-charge of Dakpathar outpost and the fire brigade team immediately reached the spot and the fire brigade team worked to extinguish the fire. In this incident of fire, the bus has been damaged and the luggage of the passengers kept in the bus has been burnt.
