Two labels which seized the creativeness truly to their best abilities on day-2. Jigya M. Was a powerhouse of detailing and inheritance craftsmanship in her latest collection “Kaynat” it won’t be understated if we call her the maestro of genuineness. Her take on vintage textiles embraces the unblemished artisans to construct the mysticism of history and grandeur of Kanjeevaram Bandhej and Ajrak print from kutch and Gujarat. Her outfits are going to be a future asset merging the techniques of olden classic embroidery and prints. Every artist needs a surplus to lavish funds to fulfill its creative ambition. In Jigya’s latest line, it seems she made it all worth while. Her pieces are truly something every Indian woman should invest in and treasure for generations ahead. While we were getting over the mesmerizing drop of Jigya M. Kalki Fashion just lumbered the fast fashion rights of Indian Traditional under their belt by showcasing the mega line of all that we need to embrace from international designers where the silhouettes are concerned. Their cuts and silhouettes could give a run for the money if one puts them on a global scaffold. Gone are the days when market brands and shops were slightly considered on a lower tier than A-listers of designers. Kalki Fashion seems to transform the narratives for that conception and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop, till it matches up to the standards of high fashion garments. The brand is most certainly raising the bar for another label on the same line. Talk about autumn pellet, cuts and designs or embroidery of crystals, frills, features or lace, Kalki Fashion ticked the boxes to the next level with this festive season’s drop.
