BTFW: Dia Mirza turns muse for Jigya M

Bollywood beauty Dia Mirza sauntered down the ramp for designer Jigya M at the ongoing Bombay Times Fashion Week. She wore a beautiful lehenga with ajrak work from the designer’s collection. Dia’s hair was styled in middle-parted curls and a striking mang tikka rounded off her look.

Jigya M’s collection titled Kaynat is very close to the designer’s heart. She showcased various elements from Indian heritage especially from her hometown Kutch. She had transformed the vintage textile and embroidery which she had collected over a period of time from various regions.

Jigya used cotton, kanjeevaram, bandhej and ajrak prints from Gujarat. The fabrics had a variety of colours covered in block prints and vibes that match the bridal needs. Each piece you will see today is a one of its kind.

The collection juxtaposed bright hues with vibrancy and there was ample of inspiration for the upcoming wedding season.
