Replying to the user, Mahira tweeted, “It’s never ok for us – the artists of your country (Pakistan)! I have and will continue to do my part. If it makes you happy, I can take some pictures while at it. Oh, but then it’ll be – showing off doing charity. The unkind commentary never ends. You do you. I will do me.”
On the work front, speculations are rife that the Pakistani actress will soon mark her debut in Hollywood. Mahira Khan has reportedly signed up for a pivotal role in Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s upcoming directorial, ‘Brilliance’. Interestingly, Mahira will share the frame with Will Smith in this entertainer. This Hollywood film will reportedly be adapted by Paramount Pictures from a Marcus Sakey novel by the same name. Reportedly, Will Smith will be backing ‘Brilliance’ as a producer under his home production banner of Westbrook Studios. The makers are yet to make an official announcement about this venture.
