Talking about the design, the new Accord follows the design philosophy seen on the CR-V and WR-V SUVs and is based on Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) architecture. The car gets a muscular bonnet with a large hexagonal grille, flanked by LED headlights and integrated LED DRLs. The car also features newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels.
Moving on to the rear, the car features sleek LED taillights that emerge from the sides and propagate towards the Honda badge with an integrated rear spoiler.
Moving on to the inside, the cabin layout is similar to other Honda models. The car features a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car also features Google built-in, including Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play, plus a standard 6-inch head-up display with 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Talking about safety, the new Accord features updated Honda Sensing technology. The car gets a wider 90-degree field of view and wide-angle radar with a 120-degree field of view. It gets a blind spot monitoring system, Traffic Jam Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Lane Keeping Assist.
Talking about the powertrain options, the new Honda Accord is offered with two engine options, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-litre Atkinson cycle inline-four-cylinder paired with two-motor hybrid system. The 1.5-litre engine produces 189 bhp and 260 Nm of torque and comes mated with a CVT. The hybrid 2.0-litre engine produces a combined 204 bhp of power and 335 Nm of torque.
