Ajit Doval leads crucial India-U.S. talks | Highlights Of Strategic Meet | Times Of Ahmedabad

India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is in the U.S. for the inaugural formal talks on the Initiative for Critical and Emerging Technologies (iCET). NSA Doval is accompanied by a high-powered delegation. Earlier, NSA Doval met U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley and held ‘fruitful’ discussion on various aspects of bilateral cooperation. Ajit Doval also attended a special reception hosted by India’s Ambassador to U.S. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, where he also met U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. The reception was also attended by top officials of the Biden administration. Announced during US President Joe Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s bilateral talks in Tokyo in May last year, the iCET is spearheaded by the National Security Councils of both countries.
