Nilesh Rana, Banaskantha: For the horticultural farmers of Banaskantha and Patan districts, it is now mandatory to get Apeda farm registration for exporting horticultural crops abroad. So, farmers cultivating horticultural crops will have to do foam by 31 January 2023.

Why form registration?

Farmers of Banaskantha and Patan districts who cultivate horticultural crops, it is mandatory for those farmers to get their orchard registered under Apeda for export of horticultural crops abroad through Apeda. This registration is done by the office of the Deputy Director of Horticulture of the district.

Interested farmers have to submit prescribed specimen application form along with supporting documents like 7-12, 8-A, copy of identity card, farm map and farm diary etc. at the office by 31-01-2023. After this office will verify the place of applications and give the registration certificate of the garden.
