Janata Budget adopted for the second year in a row

Gandhinagar: Jashwant Patel, chairman of the former standing committee presenting the budget of the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, has announced the Janata Budget. Last year, for the first time, an attempt was made by the Standing Committee to create a true Janata Budget by adopting a novel approach to pre-budget. In which suggestions were invited from the citizens of Gandhinagar and a new chapter was started by including those suggestions in the budget.

Planning Janata Budget once again in Gandhinagar

Taking forward this tradition, this year too, Jashwant Patel, Chairman of the Standing Committee for Janata Budget, has appealed to the citizens to send suggestions. He has said, ‘Since most active and retired officials and employees live in Gandhinagar city, I appeal to all the citizens to send suggestions so that the suggestions made by them based on their experiences can be included in the budget and a true public budget can be made.’Also Read: The night patrol of the police flew Lirelira!

DRAFT BUDGET OF THE MUNICIPALITY

The draft budget of the Municipal Corporation has been uploaded in the news section of the Municipal Corporation website at https://gandhinagarmunicipal.com/ so that citizens can participate in the budget of the Municipal Corporation and give their suggestions for the Janata Budget. After studying the necessary suggestions regarding this budget can be sent through e-mail, ruber and letter.

People can give their suggestions in person or by letter

Citizens can also email their suggestions to chairman.gmc.gnr@gmail.com or give their suggestions in person or by letter to the address of Gandhinagar Mahanagarpalika. According to the ruling party, this is a new approach to their Janata Budget effort. But the opposition is calling this approach a mere publicity stunt.
