Boris Johnson has alleged that Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened him with missile strike before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine back in February 2022. His remarks came in a new BBC documentary, where Boris Johnson shares his experience with Putin before the war, the details of the ‘extraordinary’ phone call and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky’s thwarted NATO ambitions before Russia attacked. Boris Johnson said, “He threatened me at one point, and he said, ‘Boris, I don’t want to hurt you but, with a missile, it would only take a minute’ or something like that.” The Kremlin has however dismissed his allegations as a ‘lie’.
