Israeli President Isaac Herzog has urged NATO to toughen its approach to Iran, amid reports that Tehran supplies drones to Russia for its war on Ukraine. Herzog, during a visit to NATO headquarters in Brussels on Thursday said ‘…the Iranian threat (is) now at Europe’s doorstep.’ He is the first Israeli president to brief NATO’s main decision-making body as members of the Western military alliance press Israel to take a firmer stance against Russia over the war in Ukraine. Israel has refused to arm Ukraine as it is afraid of angering Moscow, which plays a key role in its neighbour Syria.
