Dadra Nagar Haveli and Valsad police conducted a joint investigation after the body of the child was found in the canal of Daman Ganga river coming from Dadra Nagar Haveli. Postmortem of the body was done to find out the cause of the murder
Primarily the data of missing children in Valsad and Dadra Nagar Haveli was obtained. Because, it was very important to identify who this body belonged to immediately. Along with this, a body panel post-mortem was conducted to find out the cause of the murder. Valsad police also took help of FSL in this matter. However, it has now been revealed that the Selvas police are verifying the data of the missing child. On December 29 last, the Kohla family of Saili village of Dadra Nagar Haveli filed a missing complaint of their 9-year-old Chaita. A family of 9-year-old Cheetah missing while playing in the courtyard did not find the Cheetah after checking the village and its surroundings.

The head and part of the foot of the cremated child were also found
The family also filed a police complaint in this matter. Now the body found in Vapi has been identified by this family. According to the family, based on the thread tied on the hand of the dead body and the size of the saddle, the family has claimed that the body of the child found in Vapi is that of their beloved Cheetah. Hence, the head and part of a child’s leg were also found near the crematorium of Sayli area when the Selwas police did more Tapas. Daman Ganga river canal flows towards Vapi. So it is believed that the dead body of the cheetah was stretched in the water of the canal from Saili to Vapi.

The Kohla family is now demanding justice
Sayali’s Kohla family, who claim to have identified the body of the child found in Vapi, is now demanding justice.
