In the budget for 2023, the Modi government has announced an investment gift for women and senior citizens. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announces a new deposit scheme for women. called Mahila Samman Bachat Patra, which will be available until March 2025. The scheme will have a tenure of 2 years and offer a fixed rate of interest of 7.5%. The deposit can be made in the name of a woman or a girl child. The senior citizens savings scheme limit has also been increased from 15 to 30 lakh. Watch this video for more.
