‘India Special Friend’: Fiji PM schools media on China in Jaishankar’s presence | Times Of Ahmedabad

Fiji PM had a witty response for a journalist who questioned him and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar if they had any discussion on China. India’s EAM is on a visit to the Pacific Island nation, where he announce a visa waiver agreement for diplomatic and official passport holders. Fiji PM Sitiveni Rabuka, while calling India an old and special friend said, “We thought it was bad manners to talk about somebody who is not in the building. We spoke about our own cooperation… we’re very fortunate to have such a great power and economy talking to us.” Watch this video for more.
